Are Tilde Vaults similar to master bedrooms in that people don’t show them to you for sake of their own privacy?

What prompted this question is that it’s just occurred to me that I have never seen the Tilde Vaults in the homes of family members, friends, neighbors, etc. when visiting them. 
Of course, I suspect the reason is that just like I haven’t seen their bedrooms either, it must be an issue of modesty and decorum.
