Trying to explain that would be a waste of time.  Trump lost and there aren't 11,000 votes to be found for him.

So I take that as a cannot find it.

There are many more than 11000 contested votes.   Just what was ran in the middle of the night after observers and media sent home were over 100K. This post was edited by my2cents at January 7, 2021 3:59 PM MST

He can contest all the votes he wants.  The election has been confirmed a Biden win.  He's desperate and spinning his wheels and no amount of challenges is going to change the outcome.  Give up already, which is what everyone told the Democrats when Trump won.

Not debating the votes here.  This is about the phone call that supposedly has a threat in it.
    Not deflecting to that.

A criminal investigation, if there is one will determine if extortion and threats were in Mr Trump's phone call to Raffensperger.

    Otherwise it's just anyone's opinion.

Some legal experts described Trump's speech as extortion and mob talk. (According to BuzzFeed) This post was edited by Kittigate at January 6, 2021 11:49 AM MST

I scanned the transcript but it was too long and boring for me to find and root anything out to determine if there was threats or coercion by Trump.

Like I said I'll leave it to the criminal investigation people to determine.

So you did not find it either. Thank you.

I actually listened to the call...there is no threat there.

Do you know if there is a criminal investigation happening? If not then I guess there was not enough substance to Trump's wording to say 'coercion' or ' threats were implied.

There is but it is about the leaking of the recording.  Not a supposed threat.

Doesn't seem like any classified material in the recording to say a leak should be investigated.

Any private call with any President is automatically considered privileged information and sometimes classified information.  Leaking any call is considered a Breach of National security unless it is specifically authorized.

And you are providing a link to the material to encourage people to peruse 'privilaged' or 'classified'  information.

It is already leaked.  Yes it is a link to leaked privileged information.  I am providing it to have someone show me where this supposed threat is at....

So what would be the deal if everyone on AM agreed they perceived a threatening/coercive tone to Mr Trump's talk?

    What would it amount to?

Unless they are threatened by President Trump's normal tone....I would think they were lying.
Tone was the same as Trump uses daily.  I listened to the call.

    1. There is a threat only if the subject of it percieves it as such. Did the GA AG consider it so?
    2. It is the media who called it a threat.
    3. My opinion doesn't matter.

Then it should be easy to spot this threat.

Media is anti-Trump....they call rioters "peaceful protesters"....and Trump supporters just a bunch of racists.

There has to be more than just a perceived threat for a statement to be considered a threat.  There has to also be language that can be taken as a threat.  You can't just say someone has threatened you as a result of them having a conversation with you.

True, but I take thing literally. I know about the nuances of our language, but won't give credence to those who are trying to threaten me with mere inuendo. "When the fox gnaws, smile." The question still remains...did the AG perceive it as such, or just blow it off as the rantings of a maniac? Good point, though.

I just listened to the phone call and I didn't hear any threats of any kind from President Trump against anyone. He presented the data he had to the Georgia officials and all he asked was that those involved get together, compare data, and resolve this as soon as possible.
