Knowing or not caring that he's going to lose. Nonetheless, despite the fact that I predict him to lose, the polls are a lot closer than I'm comfortable with...
Well, I saw that when he pretended to know he was going to win. I know he must have known he didn't have one prayer. Anytime he drew any kind of favor with anyone, he turned it around and sabotaged it to the point that you know he isn't this insane. He must not want the job and just wants the attention it brings. That is his thing. To open his big mouth and show off. He couldn't do that job for five minutes. He complained that he would have to stand for 2 hours to debate and that was too long for him to stand. Imagine. 2 hours. I could stand for 10. I am not even running for anything.
I've always said that the entertainment value of this site was over the top. If I've known it and have been convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt for over six months that the tsunami was coming, then Trump knows it. I've said for months that this thing was over and done with but no one would believe it until the last couple of weeks. As they say, a prophet is never welcome in his own land.
Possibly simple arse-covering. It's always convenient to be able to say, 'I told you so' after you've lost. Face-saving isn't beyond Trump, however much his behaviour may give the impression of a person without a plan. Narcissists always have the same basic plan, that of never being wrong.
