Suicides happen much more often among males and middle-aged people. See below the professions that are at risk. What profession is yours? Are you at risk?

Per a study by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention released Thursday following are the professions most at risk and least

Most

Farmers

Lumberjacks

Fisherman

Least 

Librarians

    I thought psychiatrist had the highest rate of suicide.  I was a fisherman but I finally got job in marine habitat conservation.  Being a fisherman was easier.

    There are various levels of risk according to one's profession per the CDC. I just repeated what was the highest and lowest at the time of the study. Perhaps things are fluid and different professions rise to the top or fall to the bottom. Maybe it's seasonal! I think being a fisherman must be getting to very hard. Climate change has caused the ocean temperatures to rise and apparently fish don't like it much because there are fewer of them. Thank you for your reply CMI! :)
