Whenever my wife reminds me I need a haircut,

- or that I need to pick up the groceries, or that I need to book the car in for its regular maintenance, it simply triggers awareness of my being in need of another beer. What does your wife, girlfriend, boyfriend, or other needy creature of great clinginess or randiness, trigger your awareness of?

      Er, um, a declaration may have been your intent, but you didn’t communicate that intent with the word selection and/or word order that you selected. 

    How I could make her mine!
    How much do I want to make her mine!
    What I would do to make her mine!

    Those are statements. Yours is a question.

    A lot of people need a haircut right now. I have an appointment on the 4th for my first covid vaccine.  Two weeks later I have the second shot.  Two weeks after that I can make a hairdresser appointment. It's too close now to take a chance on getting covid.
