Do you think the vaccines that have been developed might be just a placebo to inspire the development of immunity in the body?

The vaccines were developed and tested so incredibly rapidly so maybe it was decided that a  placebo instead could be substituted when it can be as much as 87% effective kind of similar to the estimated effectiveness of the various vaccines.

Wouldn't real vaccines take years to be properly developed and tested?

    I don't think I need a permit to start a conspiracy theory, do I?

I hope it's not a placebo. I just paid a guy a hundred bucks for a black market vaccination.

A placebo can be effective when the real stuff is not available and the adverse  side effects are only imaginary. This post was edited by Kittigate at February 10, 2021 12:31 PM MST

    That would not inspire immunity.

Perhaps not immunity but the mind force can be good at healing when suitably inspired.

Immunizing and healing are not synonyms.  Try as you might, you will not think yourself into immunity from a virus.
