If you were out of shape and started jogging and doing exercise, how long would it take for you to recover from your aches and pains?

After the first day?

I was 42 and out of shape then I started doing hard labor work. Took me about 3 days to recover.

Brisk walk, no jogging, that's too much jostling around on my back. Two weeks after I have my second dose of vaccine I'll venture back to the YMCA.  As disgusting as it is, using equipment that someone else put their sweat all over.  Almost makes me gag.
I do better with equipment for a workout.

It can take up to a week for sore muscles to recover (dependant on if they are worked constantly or just sporadically).  However, depending on age, length of downtime, and other factors, the other pains may never completely go away.

There are far too many factors in play to accurately or even nearly answer your question. The type and the amount of jogging and exercise (resistance) are the least of those factors. If you’re asking about a person in general, that’s also difficult to answer, because then you also have to consider the physical condition on day one, age, weight, medical history, exercise background or lack thereof, motivation, etc. If you’re talking about me personally, it takes us back to the top; how much out of shape am I and how long it’s been since I last exercised on a regular and repetitive basis.

Were this me in your scenario, I exercise so much that I would not feel unusual amounts of pain from jogging and working out today. I’d recover within hours.

I meant that I would let you know when I recover. I took up exercising five years ago.
