I am asking this for a friend, of course. His stepdaughter is pregnant and he will be 70 when the baby is born.

He is concerned how this will affect his life, as his wife will be babysitting a lot. Any suggestions?

    Hopefully he and his wife and stepdaughter have talked about it. If not, I'd tell him to start there to work out the details, level of involvement, expectations, etc.
