You CAN go home again, geographically. But if friends/family are gone from there how can it still be home? Is home a place or the people?

    Home is where your heart is it more than likely would be the place and the people .but I'm sure you would feel good about reminiscing of either one.

    Long ago my then-husband and I moved from California to Massachusetts. We lived there 5 years and then came back to California. One of the first things we did when we got back was to go to our favorite seafood restaurant in Pasadena. With much anticipation we arrived and guess what? No restaurant! It was a gas station! We were so shocked and disappointed. Lots of things can happen in five years.  Thank you for your reply TT and the John Denver video. We really liked him a lot. How he died was so sad.  Happy  Sunday!  :)

     I do too pearl but certain places seem like home sometimes too. Even if the people aren't there. Thank you for your reply.
