A bride has a disagreement with future sister-in-law about flower girls’ dresses on the wedding day and cries. Why is this earth-shattering?

I’m sure I’m just missing something here, but I was under the impression that most brides are on a thin emotional tight-rope on the day of their weddings, and that practically anything not going the way they envisioned it is cause for an outburst of waterworks. I don’t see how one more bride having gone through that three years ago is stop-the-presses news today, except of course the fact that certain people make life events into lifetime events.

Please help me to understand if you have a take on this. Thank you.

It's a woman thing that we men will never understand. I doubt if an explanation from one of the women here would suffice.
