If tobacco companies worldwide for the past 100 years had NOT lured youngsters* to start smoking, how might that entire industry and that

entire habit differ today?

*This supposes that most smokers may have been much older when they started.

    I think older people would be more reluctant to buy cigarettes to experiment in the indulgence of a stinky, messy and unhealthy habit of smoking anything. There might be peer pressure to NOT smoke among adults rather than peer pressure to start smoking like among the younger people.
