Per Wikipedia: Only two governors have ever been successfully recalled. In 1921, Lynn Frazier of North Dakota, and in 2003, Gray Davis of California.
Only 19 of the 50 states* allow for recall of state officials. I have not yet discovered how many attempts were made overall to recall governors, but I am still researching it.
