The BIG LIE PARTY (formerly known as GOP/Republican) are well known for their successful insurance plan that all Americans enjoy. Remember?

Per FOOTOO man "it will be much better and cost much less". It will be ready very soon.

We are still waiting for that which will never happen because they are clueless inept inadequate and very ignorant.

How many years does it take to change a lightbulb? We're still in the dark on that one FOOTOO. Still working on it are you?

Blame it on a dead man.  Way to go.  They had plenty of time to come up with a plan before and after he passed away.

McCain is who cast the deciding vote on repealing and replacing OC.  His death does not change how he voted.

The GOP did not have an alternate plan so he voted to keep what was there.  They never did have an alternate plan.

It was his voted that stopped any progress on the issue. He voted because he did not like that is was not a bipartisan bill.

No, they never agreed on a plan.

It doesn't matter what he did.  The GOP never had a plan and never will.

Repealing it would have made people get their butts in gear and get something done.  There was also a 2yr transition period in which to draft the new bill.   Nothing gets done in DC without a deadline... How many times has the gov shutdown?

As I said they did not have a plan...DC requires deadlines to make them work.

Let me remind you which party caused the government shutdown - it wasn't the Dems.

Lol. Your right the Dems under Obama just did not bother with a budget for his entire first term...
Yes the Reps forced them to address it.  Good for them.

I'm sure everyone who is was employed by the government was thrilled to have Obama taught a lesson.  You really are in another dimension.

They got paid and back paid.  Dems should have at least pretended to do their job.

Dems are just as much to blame for shutdowns as Reps....that is the compromise part.

I see, only one party has to do the compromising.  Good luck with that.

Not what I said.   It takes two to compromise.

Then it's about time the GOP started doing it for the good of everyone - not just the ultra-wealthy.

Lol.  What do you want to trade?

I say build the wall and we will give you the Dreamers.   (See compromise takes both sides)

See, this is the skewed reasoning the GOP puts forth.  Most of the Dreamers have been here for decades.  They have been educated, hold jobs, pay taxes and, by and large, are positive contributors to society.  You want to get rid of them.  Now, how dumb is that?

I said secure the border first.  Why? Because we did not last time and now it is needed again.

So you got no offers on something the Dem would compromise on?

You're talking secure the borders, a current problem, versus the Dreamers who are already here and have been for decades.  Make up your mind.  Why would you send back people who are contributing members of society?  If the GOP was so concerned about building the Wall, they had four years to do it.  All they did was reinforce most of what was already there, and then build another couple of feet - which has been proven to be scalable by even a child - costing millions.

Clearly, whatever the GOP was offering wasn't worth the compromise.

Thank you. We proved why there is deadlock in DC.

You still offered nothing the Dems are willing to compromise on.

Maybe if you had something that would benefit everyone, instead of a few, there would be compromise.  So far, you offer ice in the winter and heat in the summer.  Let me know when the GOP has something worth compromise.

Ok. Asking for the 4th time....what is an example of something you think both sides should/could compromise on?

Perhaps there was something that could have been compromised on in the 400+ bills that the House sent to the Senate, which McConnell refused to even bring to the floor.
