Ever hear about "WAITING FOR GODOT"? Folks wait and wait and wait and wait and wait for some who never shows up.

    No...it could not have happened in 1948.  There are still prophecies that must be fulfilled before His return. 

    One world government
    Anti-Christ (false Christ who will rule the one world gov and claim to be God)
    Rebuilding of the Temple
    Mark of the Beast

    Etc. 

    Yes He could return anytime he wants but He would not do anything to make the Bible false.
