Were any of you guys affected by the so-called gasoline shortage last week?

Our gasoline here comes from Gulf refineries and we still had a shortage.....just from people filling up 10 five-gallon cans in the back of pickups.

    No shortages but higher prices.

Prices here never moved as far as I can tell.

I filled up just before the story came out that the pipeline was down, so no trouble and no price increase.  Next week could be a different story.  I'm supposed to drive down to PA this coming weekend and if there's a big problem, I may have to re-schedule since I'd need to fill up on the way home.

I hope you don't run into a problem.  The only thing I heard today on national news was that it's expected to continue to ease up through next week.  It looks like people here are finished panicking about something that didn't even affect us.

I hope not because if there's a problem on the NJ Turnpike or in PA, I can't take the chance of not being able to gas up before coming back home.

Other than the price increase, no. We have two refineries here. I don't drive much, either.

Where I live here in Michigan, we didn't experience any shortages, just higher prices which is the norm.
