How do you prefer to be addressed by strangers who are women? ~

I don't usually care. If it's not been a particularly pleasant interaction, I dislike 'hun' very much because I can detect when it's a substitute for 'bit*h'. - Like when someone says "bless your heart" and really means "go f yourself".
A woman older than I is more likely to call me "dear," someone middle age is likely to call me hun or sweetie. If it's a friendly exchange, I don't mind any of it. If it's a person clearly much younger than I, I feel calling me hun or sweetie is disrespectful, but I try not to get bent out of shape over it.
