Did you hear the Micheal Moore speech about Trump? I like Micheal and I know he is not really supporting trump but the speech is excellent.

You can find the audio on youtube and he is a good speaker.  It is better to listen to it than to read it.
My favorite part is "They see that the elite who ruined their lives hate Trump. Corporate America hates Trump. Wall Street hates Trump. The career politicians hate Trump. The media hates Trump, after they loved him and created him, and now hate. "
I will try to cover up all the f words in this to make it PG-13

MICHAEL MOORE: I know a lot of people in Michigan that are planning to vote for Trump and they don't necessarily like him that much, and they don't necessarily agree with him. They're not racist or rednecks, they're actually pretty decent people, and so after talking to a number of them I wanted to write this:

'Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club and stood there in front of Ford Motor executives and said, "if you close these factories as you're planning to do in Detroit and build them in Mexico, I'm going to put a 35% tariff on those cars when you send them back and nobody's going to buy them."

It was an amazing thing to see. No politician, Republican or Democrat, had ever said anything like that to these executives, and it was music to the ears of people in Michigan and Ohio and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin -- the "Brexit" states.

You live here in Ohio, you know what I'm talking about. Whether Trump means it or not, is kind of irrelevant because he's saying the things to people who are hurting, and that's why every beaten-down, nameless, forgotten working stiff who used to be part of what was called the middle class loves Trump. He is the human molotov cocktail that they've been waiting for. The human hand grande that they can legally throw into the system that stole their lives from them.

And on November 8, Election Day, although they lost their jobs, although they've been foreclose on by the bank, and next came the divorce and now the wife and kids are gone, the car's been repoed, they haven't had a real vacation in years, they're stuck with the sh***y Obamacare Bronze Plan where you can't even get a f***ing percocet. They've essentially lost everything they had, except one thing -- the one thing that doesn't cost them a cent, and is guaranteed to them by the American constitution: the right to vote.

They might be penniless, they might be homeless, they might be f***ed over and f***ed up it doesn't matter, because it's equalized on that day - a millionaire has the same number of votes as the person without a job: one.

And there's more of the former middle class than there are in the millionaire class.

So on November 8, the dispossessed will walk into the voting booth, be handed a ballot, close the curtain, and take that lever or felt pen or touchscreen and put a big f***ing X in the box by the name of the man who has threatened to upend and overturn the very system that has ruined their lives: Donald J. Trump.

They see that the elite who ruined their lives hate Trump. Corporate America hates Trump. Wall Street hates Trump. The career politicians hate Trump. The media hates Trump, after they loved him and created him, and now hate.

Thank you media: the enemy of my enemy is who I'm voting for on November 8.

Yes, on November 8, you Joe Blow, Steve Blow, Bob Blow, Billy Blow, all the Blows get to go and blow up the whole goddamn system because it's your right. Trump's election is going to be the biggest f*** ever recorded in human history and it will feel good.

I spent a full three minutes trying, but I could not come up with a single reason that I would hear or read one word written by Michael Moore.

I'm a lifelong democrat who likes a lot of what he has to say. I am voting trump this time and not for these reasons exactly but what he wrote covers why other democrats will be voting trump this time.  The democrat politicians have gone too far from the democrat supporters and I think Micheal Moore knows this and is drawing attention to it. I saw that he also visited Julian Assange and said it was not right this guy is basically imprisoned in embassy for releasing information embarrassing our govt but informing the people.

  • I almost fell out of my chair when I read what Michael wrote about this election and Trump...especially this...

"Thank you media: the enemy of my enemy is who I'm voting for on November 8."

"Trump's election is going to be the biggest f*** ever recorded in human history and it will feel good."

WHAT truth?  Just because big mouth Trump got it right about Detroit does not dismiss his lack of knowledge about what to do about it.   Michael Moore is getting overly excited because Trump and his backing of Trump's ideas about Detroit give him publicity.

He must know that Trump is not going to fix one thing.   This is one of the reasons Michael Moore does not get further in his quests than he does.  He puts out all kinds of shocking statements and videos to shock people into hearing his platform.   Well, that works sometimes, but mostly it just turns everyone off. Michael Moore is too smart and dumb for his own good.  He always tries to piss everyone off to get attention.  I hear him.   He has been at the forefront of this whole Michigan going down the tubes deal for years.   I don't blame him for hating big business and I don't blame him for backing Trump's words about the shaft the workers in Detroit, etc., are getting.

That is not why I hate Trump.    He says "things" that sound good when pissed off people who are helpless hear them for the first time.  But?  His ability to actually effect any change or his actual desire to help anyone in need is only fortified if he looks good or it makes his name appear in lights.

He may make a show of doing half-assed promises at first, but I do not trust that pig for one second.  And Shame on Michael Moore for even giving one positive feed on Trump.   What he is saying is filled with facts about Michigan and none about Trump and his real character.  He is using some of Trump to back his desire to get back at the big business hoodlums who have ruined the country.  But to use Trump as a good example of how to stop the insanity is like voting for Howard Stern or some other moron with a big mouth that doesn't know one Bill of Right from the next.

Fixing a problem by having a loose cannon at the helm is suicide.

But I see why he is doing it.  He is kind of a shock jock. This post was edited by WM BARR . =ABSOLUTE TRASH at October 27, 2016 1:14 PM MDT

    Here's the video (3:55).

Edit:  To put this in proper context, MM does not endorse Trump.  But his statement reflects the truth of what many voters are thinking.  He went on to say that like the Brexit Brits, those voting for Trump would regret their choice.  That does not change the truth of what he said about many voters being fed up and their reasons for choosing Trump.
