Other than that which comes from GOD if someone tells you "thou shalt not" do you or don't you?

Depends on who that person is and what they are telling me not to do. 

ie. If it is a boss...I listen. They are the boss. 
If a customer, generally I listen. 

Generally, if the person has authority over the situation then yes I will listen.
