    I would like to visit Australia.  The downside is that I don't want to spend that many hours getting there and back home.

    1. The 13+ hour plane trip.   Unless you get an airbus, it's a long, cramped, claustrophobic trip.

    2. The Pacific ocean.  A plane weighs over 200 TONS.  I don't care what the attendant says, I KNOW metal doesn't float!  (Attention passengers, uh.. the turbulence you are feeling is due to the loss of one of the engines.  Don't worry, the other engines have... (what?  Oh S***!)"

    3. The return flight (see 1. and 2.)

    Everyone else beat me to it!  It's SO far away!  I visited back in 2015 and, from the American East Coast, it's two 12 hour flights!
