    One of my sisters had a garage sale at which an elderly lady chose a pair of sunglasses that were marked $1.  She asked my brother-in-law if he would take 50 cents for them and he said he would.  Then she asked him if he would adjust them for her, at which point he took them, threw them on the ground and stomped on them.  "Here, now they're adjusted - no charge."

    I did that at a garage sale.
