Are the gigantic hideous monsters always evil depraved destructive? Any of them have loving hearts and did good deeds?

What you see on the outside isn't always what you are on the inside.

Appearances are deceiving.

You can't judge a book by its cover.

On the other hand....

Doesn't ugly evil seep out of the pores and manifest itself somehow someway?

Painting dying coloring filling in spraying...outside only.

Inside is immutable untouchable frozen petrified stone cold mummified zombified inhuman

I guess that depends on what definition you are using for "monster".
Is it based on actions, or looks?

I mean, Godzilla looked "monstrous" ... but his actions were generally protective.

GIGANTIC HIDEOUS gives you a clue doesn't it? GIGANTIC HIDEOUS along with appearances are deceiving and you can't judge a book by its cover. And you have to ASK? I must be losing my touch. Thank you for your reply Walt! :)

As I said ... Godzilla looked "gigantic" and "hideous" ... but his actions weren't "monstrous".  (IMO)

On the other hand, if serial killers "looked the part" - or any truly "monstrous" person - they probably wouldn't be able to get as many victims.

We seem to be arguing about nothing. I stated everything in my original question. Giving me examples of gigantic hideous with loving hearts would have sufficed. I dunno. Something is lost in the translation apparently. Thank you for your reply Walt. The Hunchback of Notre Dame I expected to come up. Didn't. Next time?

Godzilla was the only "gigantic hideous monster" I could think of, who possibly wasn't evil.
Maybe King Kong.  I mean, we can excuse his rampage after being captured - but what about the sacrifices before the capture?

Not many "gigantic hideous monsters" in what I watch/read.

Well, I guess there are dragons in RPG.
They fall into stereotypes, based on their color, whether they are "evil" or "good".

I avoid bloody slasher movies because as a kid I'd get terrible nightmares so bad I was afraid o go to sleep. I can't shake it off so I just avoid them. Some folks LOOK FORWARD to the next slasher gory movie...or the cheeky chucky evil doll. Some folks love roller coasters. Not my cuppa tea. I wonder though what the draw/lure is? Also I have heard of "snuff" films where people actually are murdered and other people actually Pay to watch it. What on earth is THAT all about Walt? Beats me. Thank you for your thoughtful reply.  I wonder what life is like for the VERY SMALL and VERY LARGE?

Even Satan was an angel. Appearance can be deceiving.
Ever seen the movie Mask? Or The Elephant Man? The main character in both (based on true stories) is hideously disfigured but a good person.

I saw both and enjoyed them greatly. I'm going to ask a question about appearance R. I'm going to kinda base on a girlfried I had in junior college. She was DROP DEAD GORGEOUS and also brilliant. She was sick and tired of people stopping at her appearance as if there was she had to offer. SHE HATED IT. I wonder how true that is for others in her circumstances? I held my own but a far cry from drop dead gorgeous. I never wanted to be getting attention because I was painfully shy and wanted mostly to be invisible as a child. So I never aspired to be gorgeous (not that I would have been anyway). I just didn't want to be the center of attention for any reason..least of all what I looked like.

The only movie Mask I've seen was the comedy with Jim Carrey, and I'm sure you're not talking about that one.  lol

That was THE Mask and a completely different movie. The one I'm talking about starred Eric Stolz as "Rocky", a kid with lionitis, and Cher as his mother.
