Have you ever visited the country/countries of your ancestors' origins?

I have taken a tour of northern England (father's side) by rail when our ship was tied up in Liverpool and visited Londonderry Ireland (mother's side) when I was serving in the Canadian Navy.

I have not been to either Poland or Russia.

Yes. I've been to Japan, where my mom is from, and I've been to England and France (where my dad's ancestors are from). 

Yes, I've been to my Mothers homeland of Germany and my Fathers homeland of Ireland.

Only my American ancestors.

My ancestors are Italian and German.  I've been to Italy, but I haven't been to Germany.  I've only been to Rome, not the regions of Italy where my ancestors lived.

No - I live in it! Though not in the same region.

 

  It’s complicated. Actually finding out where that was is one of the biggest hurdles that has not yet been solved.
