Has a hurricane ever been named after you? Will one be in the future. (You can look up future names.)

Mine never has, nor will one in my lifetime.

  • Martina has never been used to name a tropical cyclone or hurricane.  It's not on a list of future hurricanes or cyclones.

    Yes - 5 times (plus 3 tropical storms).  All of the hurricanes achieved cat. 3 level, with one reaching cat. 4.  The name hasn't been retired yet as none of the storms ever made landfall as a hurricane.  In fact, it will be used again in 2024.
