Has anyone been able to use the resurrected "chat" feature?

Or is it just a tease?

    I haven't tried as I do not like that type of chat.  It is always chaotic or dead.  If two people want to talk, get on the telephone or do IM.

    Nope. Currently I'm showing Rosie and Jane only. I just tried sending Rosie a chat since she has the green light that is supposed to indicate present and available to chat. Jane has a moon by her name, so that indicates unavailable, I think?

    I know what you mean, though. Such a drastic change in fads from the pencil-thin brows that were in fashion in the 80s!

     I don’t know, because I’ve never even tried to use it, I’ve only tried to disable it from popping up every time I log on.

    If the whole chat screen, with names pops up, click the options button at the upper right and uncheck everything.
