Do you have a cedar chest or other similar piece of furniture at the foot of your bed? ~

    No.  My mother had one and treasured it.  Solid cedar.  When we moved her to assisted living she made us promise to take care of her things in that chest.  Now I have four boxes of her stuff and nowhere to put it.  I found things my aunt had put in there as her hope chest. She never married.  There were some nice towels and I'm actually using those.  Other than that I found baby clothes my mom made and sewed by hand....no machine.  The rest...just stuff.  This post was edited by Thriftymaid at July 6, 2021 4:01 AM MDT
