I cannot imagine what my life would look like if Trump made it. Maybe little would change. But the country? How much life will be left of the COUNTRY? That is what concerns me.
Hillary won't effect me or the country's downfall. At least that can be expected.

My taxes will not go up under Trump when my kids move out because Trump is increasing the standard deduction for married filing joint from $12,000 to $30,000 ($2000 more than my standard now with the kids) Maybe I will be able to buy health insurance when he allows the insurance co to compete nationwide.
God are you lucky. Now if you took that knowledge and applied it to the real world, you would not have to worry about every nickel and dime you are taxed on. I have health insurance and I have much less money than you do. Maybe you have too much and that is why you can't "afford" to spend.
It happens. Just own anything over 10 grand and tell me how Donnie is going to protect YOU.
I don't worry about every dime I am taxed on. My kids are still in the home. I don't pay in anything. And get a rebate. That will change as they grow up.
The single person standard deduction will also increase 33%. Single deduction will go from approx $10,000 to $15,000.
I am glad you have health insurance. I work for myself and the policies available are very similar to the ones offered with Obamacare. High premiums, high deductables...so like no having insurance anyway. If I could afford a high premium with a $5000 deductable....why do I need insurance....I could just pay my bill.

I'm so happy that Jim and I are old and our kids are grown and their kids are pretty much grown. I worry about Trump's complete lack of regard for everyone but "his people" though ele. If you're rich, white and ALT RIGHT you're gonna be just fine and dandy if he is prez. I think the rest of us won't be so fine. I hope I'm wrong. With Hillary I think it won't be such a disaster. Right now it is all conjecture/opinion/guessing Tom. I think with Trump if you are rich, white, ALT RIGHT you'll do just fine. I'm not sure about the rest of us. With Hillary it won't be fun and games but I think there will be less potential for disaster. Of course I don't KNOW anything. We'll find out soon enough but I do have a feeling of dread/unease. If Hillary wins you know a Republican Congress is already preparing investigations/hearings and the Senate won't confirm any appointment. That is if both Senate and the House remain a Republican majority. It will be more deadlock. Not something that will benefit we the people. I read that Benghazi isn't dead and buried. There will be more hearings on that as well. I'm just glad Jim and I aren't raising young kids. Ours are long-since grown and on their own. We just have ourselves to worry about. Under Trump for me will mean lower taxes and more money in my bank account, lower cost and better health care and Putin throwing out the first pitch at the World Series. Under Hillary for me will mean higher taxes and less money in my bank account, same BS Obamacare and Bernie Sanders underhanding the first pitch at the world series.
Well my friend that seems very benign to me all things considered. No disrespect intended Cruiser but I think if Trump is prez and you are rich, white and ALT RIGHT you will do just fine. Back when Ronald Reagan was prez, I went from poverty to self-employed businessman. Successful businessman. Perhaps the Trump era could restart this type of trend in America.
Don't give credit where credit is not due. That was a prosperous time but not because of Ronnie. It just WAS a prosperous time that Ronnie kind of set in motion FOR now. This is the end result OF Ronnie. Do NOT kid yourself. Your success as a self-made man, so to speak would have come about in that era due to your age, and the timing and the economy. Due mainly to YOU, not White Boy puppet of Wm F. Buckley.
Entrepreneurs who have a vision like bhwilson and myself will be successful no matter what oppressive administration is in charge. I bought my company in the genesis of Obama's 2010 train wreck and despite that carnage, I have made a profit every year since. I would have made a ton more cash if he had not been Pres....but I made my point.

Did you even read what I just said to you? Yes, that is precisely what I did say isn't it? Reagonomics were bullpucky and it is you guys who made whatever you had for tools, work for you.

The THEME we are both going for here? THE POINT? You made it no matter what. DUHHHHHHHH He made it under Reagan and survived Obama and you survived and made it with Obama.
Who the hell said you did otherwise? I SAID for the 3rd time now? That it does not matter how oppressed you both think you were because Regan was so Great and all and Obama is so bad and all, is in spite of anyone's reign on terror, you both made a profit. Just digest this or have someone interpret it for you???? If this is so hard for you to formulate, I wonder what kind of business you have. There is hope for us all. Praise the lord.

Take a breath Sharonna, time for you to take a class in economics. We have had 4 recessions since Reagan and 8 years later are still in the worst recession to befall our great country all thanks to the ineptitude of Barry. You fail to recognize that recession are essentially great equalizer that correct the pillaging and blunders of the previous leaders excesses. These recessions have wiped Reagan's Clintons, and Bushes slate clean. So nothing those leaders ever did mean squat today. Yes our companies have survived because they are run by smart people like me. So pleasee don't try to paint my success in business like a fluke because of Reagan.
Many people did very well when Bill Clinton was prez as well bh. I don't know under whose leadership the economy is healthier. If your concerns are simply based on money then maybe you will be among those who would prosper with Trump. I think if you are rich/white/ALT RIGHT you'll be just fine. I don't know if you are.
