I felt her statement was too transparent and will make people suspicious. It was probably a mistake to say such in the context of a statement about the investigation being reopened.
If that were the case, Trump would have asked for votes around age 16. That is about as far back as he needs to get to in order to be scandal-free. Maybe even not then. Everyone knows daddy put him in business.
