The Cleveland Guardians used to be "indians". I understand the why of the change just not the what. Do you like GUARDIANS?

Guardians make me think of Guardian Angels. What do you think of?

What team in any sports wants ANGELS to come to mind under any circumstances?

I guess you have never heard of the Anaheim Angels professional baseball team.

Probably because they've been the Los Angeles Angels since 2005.

You are correct. You are the first one to tell me about it. I see them now with their wings as they strike out. Are they very good?

May be an image of 1 person and text that says 'He's Native American, first one to ever play professional baseball. He PLAYED FOR CLEVELAND they named the Indians after him, to honor his legacy. So if you're offended you're uneducated. 6 Louis Sockalexis. Outfield'

True story folks, his name is Louis Sockalexis and he played for Cleveland from 1897-1899, then they were call the Cleveland Spiders.
He was a phenom that dazzled Cleveland fans so much that Ohioans started calling his team “The Indians.”
This is what happens when liberal cancel culture runs rabid!
