If by “main problem” you’re referring to the effects of serial matrimony as opposed to the causes of it, I believe that over a (long) period of time (decades), it contributed to the overall decline in both the importance of marriage in modern American society and in the ease in which marriage is more and more seen as a throwaway entity in life. Additionally, those who are more susceptible to idolizing celebs, the young and impressionable, have an instinctive desire to emulate their “deities”, thereby incorporating celeb behaviors into their own lives and in their interactions with others. As such, if my idol does something, it must be right, so I can or should do it too.

Just one?
(This lady doesn’t even know me, folks!)

(No comma. The article “a” indicates that a noun will follow, and the adjective “scandalous” modifies the noun “cad”. Therefore, the comma serves zero purpose within the context of the sentence.)
If you were to pay me a sufficient salary, I’d be quite happy and healthy to provide my stud services to you.

We’ve never even discussed my rates!

You’re just being kind. I think that deserves a 60-day trial offer, completely free of charge. Fluff up the pillows in the guest room while I pack my portable sandwich-making kit.
