    Dad taught me how to weld using oxyacetylene when I was19 - I needed to replace the floor in my car. I didn't realise how rusty it was until my then-fiancee put a spike heel through it.

    My mother was always willing to babysit.  I did let her do that some, but I just didn't trust her to react in any kind of emergency.    She loved having them and I did leave them there for a few hours but only once overnight.  Never again.
