Have you ever been on a canoe trip were you had to make a portage and if so what was your favorit part?

I have been on a few and my favorite part while portaging is making ghost sounds inside the canoe. There is something about the shape of a canoe that makes ghost sounds seem really scary. Cheers and happy weekend!

    No.  The only "carrying" of a canoe I've been involved in was simply a few of us taking it from the water and putting it in a storage building.  This was when I was a camp counselor in my teens.
