Has your tolerance level for spicy food changed over the years?

I was able to eat spicy food without any problems when I was in my 20's and 30's.  However, my tolerance for spicy food changed when I was in my 40's due to digestive issues.  As such, I no longer eat spicy food.

  • I've never really like spicy foods.  My husband and son love them .. the spicier the better.  Their tolerance for those foods has not changed over the years.  They both have iron stomachs.

Yes, it has and that's a good thing for my colon.

It has but it is probably my fault. I used to put dry chilli peppers on almost every thing I ate and ai think I damaged my stomach a little bit. Cheers!

Slightly increased tolerance now, compared to earlier in life.
