Logic is something that can be studied and it has rules, just like math, science or language. It’s offered in high school and college. I had it in high school. It was a semester-long course.
Logic has rules, and believe it or not, a lot of the political discussions on AM start breaking them right away. A violation of the rules of logic is called a fallacy, and there are a whole lot of fallacies that can derail an argument.
