She is perceived two ways...as a symbol of female empowerment and independece

As a DEMONESS who is wicked and vengeful toward men and children

    It is not in the Bible.   Just something someone made up.  Based on the Hebrew word for screech owl is lilith.   And they went from there.

    For "made up stuff" the prophecies have been true.  And the history is accurate.
