What is something you used to do that you no longer can, but are now magically able to do again?

      Technically and logically and grammatically speaking, if it’s something you “no longer can” do, then you can’t be “able to do again”. In order to truly be logical, the tense of that part of the sentence needs to be changed from “no longer can” to “could not do for quite some time“. Jes’ sayin’.

      Thanks to COVID19, I lost the enjoyment of being able to appreciate the beauty of women’s faces to the level, degree, and intensity that had existed before. As restrictions loosen more and more over time, that pleasure is slowly but surely returning to me. And no, I didn’t call you Shirley.
