Yep. It's a cumulative effect too. It takes a lot of licorice over the course of days to have that effect. On the flip, it's also good for men's prostate health as well.
Don't worry, most "licorice" at the store has no actual licorice root in it and is fennel and/or anise based.
Yeah. I did know because my mom loved licorice. She couldn't eat it any longer as her heart became less workable.
Don't eat a lot of it no matter who you are.
