Why would the military leave service dogs in Afghanistan?

    I would imagine that many of these Americans were visiting family there.  Maybe they moved back there to care for family.  All I know is that they were on the ground, they must have had some idea that things were going to go sour when our troops were leaving and they should have had the sense to try and get out sooner.  Maybe they just couldn't.
