What do you consider a mansion?

How many bedrooms, bathrooms etc.

    I don’t really know what I would consider a mansion now. I remember going to meet my boyfriend’s (at the time) parents when I was 20ish and they had this intercom system in their house to talk to people in other rooms, had statues in different corners of the house and really high ceilings… so I thought that was a mansion. I also thought Red Lobster was a fancy restaurant at that age lol, so it probably wasn’t a mansion but that’s the way I’ll always remember that home. Big mansion.

    A residence that has 2 (or more) stories, and 6 (or more) bedrooms.  {And unless one has a large family, I can see no reason why anyone would want to live in one.}

    Six bedrooms really isn't that much if you think about having family stay overs for the holidays.

    It all depends on perspective.  Compared to what I live in, 6+ bedrooms IS a mansion.

    10 bed and 5 bath. 20 car garage. Muliple floors/wings. A floor just for the workers to stay.

    That makes more sense than the one above.  I like the live in for the workers.  20 cars, must be for a collector.
