Is there anyways to help someone get their birth certificate?



       I know this lady and shes been homeless for yrs, just cause she cant get her birth certificate cause her mother wont send her one. is there anyways to get around that so shes not on the streets? shes been homeless 7 yrs, is anyone else allowed to get it for her, like if i wanted to could i do it or would that be illegal? I cant take her in cause my apt building dont let us do that. any suggestions?

    She can order one herself. Most states let you do it online now.  Does she have any form of ID?

    Does she get any type of gov assistance? If so perhaps her case worker can help get her IDs.  
    If she knows her SS number she maybe able to go to the local health department (assuming she lives in the same state she is living in) and fill out the form and th they not ask for verification. 
    I got my grandaughter's and they did not ask for ID. She may get lucky.

    Go to the health department, office of vital statistics,  in the state of birth.
