Just wondering...do the hospital/intensive care admissions refer to the person being vaccinated or to entire population of people that unvaccinated children can potentially infect?

I believe it means both vaxxed and unvaxxed children. This post was edited by my2cents at October 6, 2021 7:39 PM MDT

    Heart disease is also uncomfortable.

It cases more heart disease than it stops ICU admissions.

Outright lie and I'm reporting it. Back that claim up (from a reputable source, not NewsCorpse) or delete it.

Report what you want....we do not censor for opinions/or unpopular facts here. You will have to goto FB/Twitter/Youtube for that type of censorship.

I posted the link and graphic in the question.

In children (topic of my question) it causes 3-17 cases of heart disease. And only prevents 2 ICU admissions. This post was edited by my2cents at October 8, 2021 6:52 AM MDT

How can they possibly know how many ICU admissions it prevents?  In almost all of the heart issue cases, those children had underlying conditions, some of which may not have been known to exist before the vaccine was given and in most cases, the child recovered.

I do not pretend to know how they determine their stats.
Do have a link showing all the heart issues are in kids with preexisting conditions? That is a claim I have not heard before.

"The 121 deaths are a tiny fraction of the more than 190,000 deaths that have been reported in the United States," says Malani. "But for a long time, it was believed that children didn't die from this."

"Three-quarters of the children who died had an underlying condition that made them more vulnerable to complications from the coronavirus. The most common underlying conditions were asthma, obesity and cardiac issues. Seventy percent of those who died were between the ages of 10 and 20. Only 10% were infants younger than 1."

A Scottish study (backed by Oxford University) showed in one month, 189 hospitalisations were avoided versus ONE case of pericarditis which MAY OR MAY NOT have been triggered by an autoimmune response to the vaccine - and any vaccine can do that, an autoimmune response is exactly what is supposed to happen.
I got a sore arm for a day or two. Strictly zero squared.

Seems odd, to me, that they have exact numbers for the "benefit" side ... but a wide range for the "risk" side.
It's almost as if they are guessing the "risk" number.

It is put out by the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization in the UK. I am sure they have looked at all the various studies and given a both a conservative and a worst case scenario on the risk side.
Interestingly, this does not even take into consideration the other known possible side effects of the shots. This post was edited by my2cents at October 8, 2021 9:01 AM MDT

True. But it is information that is suppressed in the US.

This link and the graphic you posted from the article are actually promoting vaccinations in children. It refers to the complications as 'incredibly rare'. Children may not be as likely to suffer severe consequences from covid but they are most likely catch the virus and spread it to others who may be more vulnerable. Yes, like any vaccination or medication there are risks and we have to weigh them against the benefits. And myocarditus is treatable; parents would be watching for symptoms,

Their interpretation of the data does not change the data presented.

There are 2 ICU admissions prevented and at least 3 heart diseases caused.  Risk is more than benefits...and that is only for the side effect of myocarditus which is by no means the only serious side effect.

The article  (BBC) I linked to is pro-shot.  The group who put the graphic is not pro-shot for children. (Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization in the UK) This post was edited by my2cents at October 8, 2021 11:41 AM MDT

his is a fairly credible source, but it says nothing about other serious side effects.  Can you share what you know?

Guns and cars cause way more injury and death than the vaccine in children, yet many folks think the benefits outweigh the risk. This post was edited by Jane S at October 8, 2021 5:25 PM MDT

    Neither are comparable.

    Shots will injure 3/Million shots
Car wreck injury .12 (all ages) per Million miles

Shots injure 25x children more than car wrecks.

There are an estimated 393M civilain firearms

    Sadly, 8K children shot annually

= .0000208 child injuries per million guns

    https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/guns-per-capita

The shot will injure 144,230x more children than firearms.

(On a side note...More people are murdered by hammers than firearms)

And we are only talking about the heart injuries these are by no means the only injuries being caused by the shots.

In the US, the leading cause of death in children is automobile accidents.  The second highest cause of death in children is gunshots.

"WILL" injure? Pure conjecture and even that is worst case scenario.
