Doors to grocery stores.  They just open up when I get near them.  Why, I never even have to touch them - entering or exiting.  It's as if they can see me coming.

Thanks to the microphones we’ve hidden in your personal effects, we have you on audiotape mumbling “Open Sesame” every time you approach those doors! I cry foul, sir, FOUL! Grrrrrrr.

It's no secret that I used to say phrase.  In fact, sometimes I still do.  Of course many of these whippersnappers haven't a clue as to what that phrase means, or even where it came from.  They just think I'm a crazy old man.  Sometimes I whisper "close sesame" just to watch the door close on them as they're walking through it, or even walk smack into a closed door.

That has been the down side of working from home.  I don't think about food when I'm out of the house, but these days, I'm in the fridge every two hours.

It’s the same thing here. For years and years (well before COVID19) we have called the kitchen the most dangerous room in the entire house.

At least when I had to go in to the office, I spent hours away from food unless it was to order in lunch.  Now, it's more like one 15 course meal from breakfast until bed time.

LOL ... Now I am picturing one of the new "smart" refrigerators with a "time lock" function.
