How did you spend National 'I Love Lucy' Day? (October 15)

I tried smiling.

(As a young boy, I remember laughing a lot when I first saw this particular episode. I still laugh.)

EDIT: I was unable to post the video but the Wondrous CameraObscura posted the video in her answer! Yay! If you haven't seen this episode, the best (to me) parts are in that video :)

Reruns of "I Love Lucy" or reruns of anything?

The usual can be very good, yes. :)

I'm wondering if I may have seen all of the episodes at some point in my life. As a kid, I loved watching reruns. Still do. :)

I didn't realize there was such a day.  Like everyone else of my generation, we watched the I Love Lucy Show every week and laughed a lot.  My favorite was the one where she and Ethel worked in the chocolate factory and were at the conveyor belt.

    :) Yes, SO funny!
    :)

I like Lucy's and Ethel's facial expressions when that factory manager shouts to make the belt go faster -- "Speed 'er up!"
    Ha!

I read an article once in which Lucille B said (I'm pretty sure Ball said it; if not, it may have been just the article's author) -- that as funny as Ball is in those scenes, watch Vivian Vance. Vance is really funny there, too. Those two together are incredible to me.
    I watched reruns a lot.

I didn't know there was such a holiday, either. Found out by chance. This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at October 19, 2021 7:33 PM MDT

True that sometimes the straight man is just as funny as the comic.  Lucy wouldn't have been as funny if she didn't have Ethel to play off.

I spent it the same way I will spend November 13th, IMO a much more significant date...

    :)

I watched that show quite a bit, too. not so much as Lucy, though. I like the opening credits. Came back immediately.
