Have you ever excused yourself from being involved in a debate because you thought the topic to be too insignificant?

Eg.. "if you want to argue about tinfoil hats  go ahead and start without me".

(You have two spaces instead of one between the words “hats” and “go”, and there should be a comma after the first of them. Excuse yourself from that debate, I know you want to!)

Wait...why do you consider foil hats insignificant? Haven't you heard the news about the micro-device injections?

No, I usually don't even bother to debate a question that I think is insignificant.  I have, however, excused myself (sometimes not very tactfully) from a "debate" with someone who is so entrenched in their own point of view that they can't even see there may be another side of an issue, let alone be convinced to share it.

I pretty much excuse myself from all debates, regardless of the topic.

    Sometimes.
Sometimes I just throw BS in the mix.
Sometimes I sidetrack the debate topic.
