What has 2 thumbs and eats lobsters?

You will probably never guess so I will just tell you - our youngest son. We just got a call from him and he let us know that they sold their house in BC and moved to Nova Scotia and bought 5 acres of lake front property for $10.000. The only bad part is they are now a 6 day drive away from us instead of 8 hours. Cheers!

    That's a huge piece of property for so little money.  There was a time when family members stayed in close proximity to one another, but with so many opportunities away from home, children have moved farther away.

    It is a nice piece of property for little money. But what is priceless is the people that live in the area  (Nufies). Our son and daughter in law have already been giving a 60 foot trailer to live in untill they get their house built and  they were giving 2 cords of firewood to keep them warm. Cheers!

    Thought I would add something about what helped make our sons move possible. When our son was 17 he started collecting Magic (the Gathering) cards. I told him many times that he was wasting his money and now I am so glad that he didn't listening to me. Before he left BC he sold most of his cards and now they are in a position to take a year or 2 off work while they build their new house. Some of the cards he sold were won at tournaments so they didn't cost him a penny but most of them were bought on speculation. He would buy a 100 or so cards for 25 cents each and months later some of those cards were worth $10 to $50 each. So once again I am so glad he didn't listen to me. Cheers!     Property  and homes are pretty cheap there right now but they are starting to go up. So it might be a good  investment for you if you buy something now. Cheers!

    Not a bad idea but I know I won’t do it lol. I’ve thought many times about moving province because the type of work I do could really do anywhere but I don’t think I will ever leave. I’m not that brave start over so far away :)
