Dick Wolf says it's in the works along with CSI: Grammar Forensics.

Wait, do you mean that they’re finally investigating to find out who killed Latin?

Start rounding up the usual suspects! Oh, wait a second . . . it’s about two centuries too late for that, right? Arrgghh.

I heard it was delayed until they could get the writers software to check their spelling and grammar.
Then it was delayed by a strike of editors, who claim the software is taking their jobs.

No way they can pull it off. There are at least two grammatical errors in every scene of every show.

The producer adamantly insisted that the screen writers screenwriters put that in there intentionally. It helps create controversy and therefore drums up more audience interest.  Even bad publicity is publicity.

I heard it was canceled because the audience didn't like the main characters.

No, no, no, no! It was because the producers found out one of the lead actors has a (disgruntled) side piece in Minnesota, and they wanted to avoid that scandal.

Meh, maybe so. With me, it’s the absence of the uniform.

To digress a bit, I am beginning to think that the writers of most broadcast TV shows aren't able to come up with any new ideas.  Regurgitating shows seems to be all they know how to do lately.  When the Elliot character left L&O:SVU, I lost interest and stopped watching.  Now he's back in his new show and I couldn't make it past the first two episodes.  Although Grissom left CSI, I continued to watch because I liked all of the other characters except Sara Sidle.  Jorja Fox has this sing-song manner of speech which I find very irritating.  As a result, I haven't watched any episodes of the new CSI spinoff.       I agree with you about the Eliot Stabler character on “Law & Order: SVU”, played by Chris Meloni. The show morphed into a preachy left-wing soap opera in my perspective. Unwatchable.

I have not seen his new show yet, I doubt I will. And as for “CSI”, I have never been a fan of any iteration of those shows.

The first two episodes spent a lot of time dwelling on Stabler's inner demons.  In real life, if any officer of the law exhibited those issues, he would have been removed for his own safety.

Are you sure about that? Where do you think police brutality comes from?
