I take a blood pressure pill in the morning as well even though my blood pressure has become fairly back to normal since I quit boozing a few years ago but my doctor insists I continue to take it anyway.
Okay I been taking mine in the morning because that is when blood pressure is highest. Maybe night could be best time so I am already fixed for the morning. My doc never told me when to take, my pharmacist simply told me it's good for a complete 24 hours.
I didn't get any instructions on when to take them either. After I posted, I searched 'when is the best time to take blood pressured medications" and it came up with several articles indicating that night time is best. Some of these articles go back to 2012. The theory is that taking them at night helps keep your pressure down in the morning when it's supposedly the highest. Kind of makes sense.
