Has something ever happened that was so funny that you and others could never stop laughing?

Some situations that lead up to a most hilarious conclusion might require a whole book to explain all the details.

    Circa 1983, I was a recent college grad and had two friends of similar age, Warren and Cliff (full name Clifford Manko). One evening when not terribly sober, Warren and I thought it would be fun to take pen and paper and record variations on Cliff's name. The result was a surprisingly long, comprehensive, and hilarious list of appellations such as Mankford Cliffo, Miff Clanko, Clankford Miffo, Fordcliff Omank, Fordmank Ocliff, etc. etc.

    Cliff moved away a few years later and made his life in Boston, but Warren and I, now 63 and 61, remain close friends. We sometimes recall the list and break out in uncontrollable laughter.

      Thriftymaid has it right: technically, due to your use of the would “never”, it would mean that no matter how recently or how long ago it happened, the person or the people would still be laughing about it right now.

    My friend (RIP) and I had a few funny moments over the years that got a laugh, no matter how many years it had been. I sure do miss her, smoking finally took her too soon.

    I still laugh when I rember this even though it happened decades ago. Two professional  woman in business attire were strolling through a shopping center. One of them had her skirt tucked in her underwear. I tapped her on the shoulder and let her know. She immediately flattened her back to the wall with a look of horror on her face.
