Do you ever eat frozen meals? After they're cooked, of course.

Not in the past decade or so. I used to eat them all the time, either at home or taken to work as my lunch. When my children were younger, we used to keep plenty of those in the freezer for their growing teenaged appetites that required constant refueling in a hectic household with two working parents. My wife is such a prolific and outstanding cook that once our lives toned down a bit (empty nesters), we haven’t had nor needed those meals any longer.

      P. S. They never look like their pictures on the packaging, and often taste like the packaging. Lol.

I've taken to eating them more often since I've been stuck at home for the past almost two years.  I prefer the Healthy Choice brand.  I stick to the ones that have less salt and sugar and there's one called the Buddha Bowl that is vegetarian and I love it.

I sure do, I take them to work for lunch because I get really sick of sandwiches.

That sounds great, taking them to work as your lunch is a perf…

Wait, what’s this foul blasphemy you’re uttering about not liking sandwiches? You turn in your Harem membership card right this moment and leave these premises immediately! Security, one to be escorted out! Grrrrrrrr.

How soon you forget the ease with which I let you convince me to reinstate you.

Not since 2009 when a friend brought one of those Stouffers Lasagna to my house when I needed some help after a family death.  I'll never forget that night she showed up with it.  It was pretty good, better than I expected.  I haven't had anything like that since.  I just don't buy it.  When kids in school I kept those small $1 entrees like spaghetti, mac-n-cheese, or chicken alfredo in the freezer for them to have after school instead of the stuff they got when they went home from school with friends. On occasion. We keep Hungry Man dinners in the freezer.  My youngest son is very picky.  So if he doesn't like what we are having he can heat one up.
The Stouffers lasagna is good. (My is better but takes much more time) This post was edited by my2cents at January 2, 2022 1:21 PM MST

I'm afraid so. I really don't want to spend a lot of time cooking anything unless I'm in a good mood.

We buy fish, chicken, steaks et al at the grocery store, freeze them, defrost them, and cook them in our microwave/cook oven combo or on our George Foreman grill. Much healthier and not any harder to prepare than that processed and packaged crap.
