I agree with your point. Yet this is what I think happens when partisan politics makes mountains out of molehills and creates BS slander campaigns. When a real issue or problem arises there is a precast air of incredibility. The witch hunts make any real issues seem part of that witch hunt. It's clear I don't like Hillary as a candidate, but when people use her pant suits and other silly things against her, many people just start tuning out all bad press about actual problems.
