Do you have a driving habit that irritates other drivers? When I see a red light ahead, I release the gas pedal and cruise to a stop.

Some people get so angry, they changes lanes, floor it, and speed to the light, slamming on their brakes. Then I slowly cruise along side, look over and give them a smile.

    Yes.  Several of them -

    I drive the speed limit.
    I stop at red lights.
I don't pass over double lines.
I come to a complete stop at stop signs (and then look both ways before proceeding).
I don't "go" the very instant a light changes to green.
I slow down when the light turns yellow.

The vast majority of people stop at red lights and stop signs, so you're not unique. If they didn't, there would be a lot more accidents.

Not around here they don't.  Before 6 am, stop signs are ignored completely, and red lights (or flashing red lights), are merely suggestions.
Between the crazy drivers and the loonies taking off their clothes in the middle of a highway or freeway, we get LOTS of accidents.

Neither do I.  However, this is what many of our "road strippers" used to look like back in their "prime" (if you know what I mean).

Then it would have to be written that way. Also, he’s written many times about his ex, and she is a she.

That is a recipe for a lot of road-rage. You might get shot.

It takes me a quarter of a second to move my foot from the break to the gas pedal when the light turns green and people are very unhappy about that

No matter how fast I'm driving, if I leave too much space between me and the car in front of me, there's always someone who has to squeak in.

True, but when they slip into a space that's too close to both of us, it can be nerve-jangling.
